We’ve had a lot of questions about whether the URLs of all of our users’ sites will be changing when we switch our name from SynthaSite to Yola.
Rest assured that the URLs for all of our users’ sites will stay the same.Ā If your URL today is mysite.synthasite.com, your URL next month (after we’ve changed to Yola) will still be mysite.synthasite.com.
Hope that helps allay any concerns.Ā We want our name change to have as little impact as possible on our user community.
hi

And by what I understand from you.. IT WILL… So IM THANKFUL for that š

Amy Elizabeth
Why? Why change your name? I like Synthasite. It sounds professional. The other name sounds too kidstuff. My vote? Absolutely NOT!!! DON’T CHANGE A GOOD THING. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
dont change it Yola is silly
Really!! Well I cannot log into my website to update it! No login box on page, just a sign up for synthasite
@JimM – we are currently doing our upgrade to Yola. See the notice on our homepage, or this thread in Get Satisfaction for further details: http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite/topics/happy_yola_day
We will be back up as soon as possible, so please bear with us!

@Abby
I am sorry that you are feeling frustrated about this change.
The site builder has been and will continue to be fully functional and you can continue building your website straight away.
Be sure to opt into our newsletter to receive such future advance notices. You can login and do this at http://www.yola.com/edit.
Good luck with your new website!
I think that it is both good and bad that synthasite are going BIG now but I guess that it is good as well because synthasite will be better and more people will know about it.
Verry, verry good luck to you all at synthasite and good luck Vinny!
I just wanted to say that you can get a free URL redirection, example: mysite.synthasite.com to mysite.tk… that’s shorter than a .com domain! Go to freetkhost.tk to sign up!
Hi,
Iām using TypePad (http://www.typepad.com/) to host my weblog. TypePad supports a feature called domain mapping, where my domain can be pointed at their servers. In order to use this feature, my registrar must support custom DNS services–I need control over the DNS records that describe my domain, and I must have the ability to create and modify A, MX, and CNAME records. Do you offer such a service? Please send me more details on how it works and how I can turn it on for my account.
Thank you.
For any support requests related to DNS management or any other issue related to site building, please email support@yola.com and we will assist you from there. We cannot offer our most effective support for support questions posted on the blog so we kindly request you to use our support email for this purpose. If you wish to comment on the above post or express an opinion related to the general discussion, please feel free to do so.
I have just built 2 websites and am holding off publishing it in hopes that you will have yola.com subdomain ready by the end of the month. I would rather the shorter yola subdomain. Please say you will have it ready by the end of the month (april)??
I wanted to follow up and let you know how , a great deal I valued discovering your site today. I would consider it the honor to work at my office and be able to operate on the tips provided on your web site and also be involved in visitors’ remarks like this. Should a position connected with guest article author become on offer at your end, you should let me know.
