So, upon building you business website, you added in the title of your company, and then clicked your way through the Template Gallery – before you knew it, you had your picture perfect site.
Minutes later, you find yourself clicking the Publish button and then proceed to your new custom domain name.
Site loading…
Panic!
You quickly realize you have mistyped your company name upon adding in the title of your website, and now your page window reads (right next to your pretty new favicon) something that is no longer in your language. Or any language for that matter. You can’t even play it off, because it’s not even phonetic!
So, how do you fix your fancy new website, and quickly as you’ve already shared the link with your family and friends?
That’s simple, and here we will show you how.
Upon entering Sitebuilder, click the “Page” tab, and then “Metadata.”
While in your Metadata control panel, adjust your “Page Title” to reflect what you’d like it to read on your browser window.
*Pro tip: While you’re in there, consider adding in your keywords and meta description to boost your site within search engine rankings.
Once you’ve added in your new Page Title and Metadata, click “Okay,” and repeat these steps with the rest of your pages. Once each have been completed, republish your site.
