We’re making some exciting changes to our user interface and need to take down the site builder this Thursday (July 10, 2008) between 1am and 4am PST. During this time, you will not be able to make changes or updates to your sites. Your published sites will stay up and your visitors will still be able to visit your sites.
Thanks for your patience. We think you’ll really like the changes we’re making!
How long will it take does it have to happen
I really need to make a publish synthasite
Hi Khadija
I am pleased to inform you that SynthaSite is back up and running. We just made some very important updates to our interface and added some cool new features. You can go back in now and publish your site!
Best wishes
Monique
Hello,
This is my chance to say thank you to Synthasite for everything.
Can I unpublish my website, temporary for a day or two, without deleating the site?
Thank you.
Anna
Click on the arrow on the ‘Update my site’ button, then click ‘Publishing settings’. Then click ‘unpublish site’
This doesn’t delete the site as such but it does mean that whilst your site is ‘unpublished’ someone else is free to take your domain name.
so… people can take your name? darn, that is one reason not to unpublish your site!
This is a copy of the error message I keep getting: Network Timeout
The operation timed out when attempting to contact ide.synthasite.com. I have been trying all day, at first I could not log in then I managed to log in but could not access my sites for editing purposes. Managed to get one site open (of course not the one I needed to work on!) but it is very slow and I keep getting the same error message.I have tried logging on with another computer and even tried using a different ISP but the problem continued. I have also tried with both FireFox and IE but the same problem. Is there a problem with the server? Can’t trace the server back to its origin, this is the closest I can get: dr2-g6-1.bos.hostedsolutions.com (207.154.0.122) 28.079 ms 27.933 ms 27.983 ms
This is not the first time I have had this problem. Can you help as I need to update my site.
Many thanx
Sharon
Hi Sharon
I am very sorry about the frustration you experienced while trying to update your site. We did have some difficulties earlier today which would have resulted in the error message you posted. However, we have been assured that everything is functioning at 100% capacity again. Could you try one more time and note the time that you try to open and edit your site- then email us at support@synthasite.com if you still get the error message.
Thanks so much Monique – I was able to access my account and do my updating this evening!! :))
when i can see my website in google
