Site owner Chrissa Michelle reports building this fun site in just one weekend! Her goal to get her friends moving grew into something more, and it turns out Yola.com allowed her the flexibility to evolve quickly to meet the changing needs of her organization.
What started as a simple quest to have a few friends get together for a bike ride suddenly turned into a movement. With a barrage of requests to join us and get more involved and what was going on…I needed a way to communicate and had no budget for fancy website development. The Lemon Divas website is designed to educate and inspire women to get out and get moving. It empowers them to do something they have never done before and celebrate the success. Paired with a regular email campaign, in just 6 months, we have grown from just a few, to hundreds, across multiple states. It is all quite amazing, and the website was the driving force in the success.—Chrissa Michelle
