Site of the Week: Orka Paddles

Hola Yola! My name is Laura and I’m the new addition to the Support Team in our SF office. I’m still learning the ropes but one thing I noticed immediately was that Yola is built by amazing people, for amazing people. It’s true, we think we’ve got something special, but we know we’re only as cool as the people who use our site builder to create their sites everyday.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the featured sites page on our website. It’s filled with examples of people making excellent use of the tools we provide to build their sites. Still, we know those are just the tip of the iceberg, so we plan to start digging a little deeper.

Each week I will select a new site to share with you here. It will be a chance to see what other community members are coming up with and to learn new tips and techniques for improving your site. More importantly it will be a chance to connect with others who share a passion for site building.

First up in our Site of the Week series is Orka Paddles.

This site is a fun combination of business and pleasure. As manufacturers of paddles, the product descriptions of the various types available made me want to hop into a kayak straight away. But if you’re more into surfing the web than paddling through white waters, you should check out their blog, which has stunning photographs and details a myriad of kayaking adventures.
